And the winner is....

Anna of NC is the winner of the CooperCookie Contest! A $50 MotoringChix gift certificate is headed your way, just in time to start the new year off in fine motoring style.

Just one winner didn't seem right to us, with so many amazing entries, so we decided to name a few more winners! We've got 2 First Runners-Up, Steve and Nicole, who will each receive a $15 MotoringChix gift certificate. We also have 3 Second Runners-up, Aaron, Janis and Lorine, who will each receive a $10 MotoringChix gift certificate. Thanks to all of you for entering!

And a special thanks to our judge, a baker from Massachusetts. We never could have selected just one winner on our own and really appreciate your expert opinion!

two more cookie contest entries...

Sliding in right before the deadline, a couple more cookie contest entries!

We'll announce the contest winner on Christmas Eve, the official holiday of all cookie-dom thanks to the big man in the red suit. While I'm surprised no one attempted to bribe us by sending actual cookies in the mail so we could taste test as well as judge by appearance, we are in awe of your decorating skills. The cookies are simply amazing! Thanks to all who entered.

More CooperCookie contest entries...

Finally, a pink cookie was submitted to the CooperCookies contest! I also like this technique--the sugar is added before the cookies are baked. So much originality from all of the entrants. It's a relief to have an expert judge on board for this one as I could never pick just one!

Just 3 days left to submit your cookie photos...hop to it! :-)

More CooperCookies!

The contest entries keep rolling in and WOW! I love the creativity!

In the latest batch of photos, there's a great cabrio, Hammer & Coop icing graphics, terrific headlight and gas cap detail and a CooperCookie cutter used to make an FJ. I think the FJ could easily be interpreted as a Clubman or maybe the upcoming SAV.

I'm tickled I don't have to judge this contest. It's not getting easier with all of the entries! Thanks to all of you that have submitted pics and for the rest of you that haven't, there's still time! And I'll share one of my cookie tips with you: roll your cookie dough out on your cookie sheet, cut out the cookies, then pull away the extra dough and bake. Your cookies won't have to be moved from the counter to the cookie sheet, preventing any distortion of the shape.

CooperCookies Contest Entries

With just 7 days left in the CooperCookies Contest, it's time to share some of the entries. The talent and patience in cookie decorating is amazing!

Contest entrants have shared some fun tips. Here's my favorite: Steve from Chicago partially frosted cookies and took them to a MINI party for guests to "you-ify" their own cookie. LOVE it!

Cookie Contest

We've sold OOOODLES of our hand-sculpted cookie cutters and hope they have all found their new homes in time for holiday baking. We would love to see what you have been cooking up, or more specifically, decorating, now that you have one of these little darlings in your kitchen!

Here's a little incentive: We're sponsoring a cookie contest. It's pretty simple to enter: just make cookies with a MotoringChix cookie cutter, decorate them and snap a photo. E-mail your photo to mini.chix@hotmail.com by December 21st. We'll post all the photos right here in our blog for the entire Miniverse to see!

So you are asking, "What's in it for me?" Well...how about a $50 MotoringChix gift certificate for the big winner? We'll pick one winner on December 24th. Now get moving....cookies are waiting to be baked. :-)

Here's a photo to get things rolling...these are gingerbread cookies and our first attempt at decorating cookies. We're going to stick with sculpting the cookie cutters and leave the decorating to you fine folks!
