Cookie Cutters Available!

MotoringChix has our hand-sculpted cookie cutters available for your New Year's festivities!

Each cookie cutter is hand-sculpted in our studio (not made on a form or by a machine) and our new version is riveted, creating an even more durable cookie cutter. These are made with a heavy gauge metal, sure to hold its shape unlike cheap cookie cutters which lose their shape quickly.

Cookies cutters are $8 each, in either the coupe or the clubbie style and include Johnna's favorite sugar cookie recipe. First class shipping is $2 per cookie cutter. Drop us an e-mail at mini.chix@hotmail.com and we will send a Paypal invoice to you.

Meet Sam & Stella

Sam and Stella are my MotoringMonsters, made by Emily (Stoopidgirl) at Rogue Minis.

I picked the fabric and buttons for Sam and took them to Emily at Minis on the Dragon. Emily whipped up Sam and mailed him to me. He came with a great surprise--a pocket mouth! You just never know what you'll find in his mouth. I'm usually shocked at the things that come out of Sam's mouth. He is quite the smooth-talking ladies man. I'm not sure what his allure is with the gals, possibly his fine taste in clothing?

Stella has her very own Rogue Minis t-shirt and is quite the floozy. She likes things that sparkle and has acquired a fine collection of Monster accessories in her short life. She is pretty outspoken and makes friends everywhere she goes, sometimes a little too easily...

Where did the Boutique go???

Lots of you have asked where our e-Boutique has gone, why we aren't doing on-line sales and basically, where we have been hiding. So here's the inside scoop...

I decided I didn't want to sell on-line via the storefront we had been using. I was spending much more than I was making via that system and it was prohibiting me from introducing all of the fun new goodies I have floating around in my head. We are currently working out an on-line system that works for us and will make a better shopping experience for you.

The other consideration for me is mass-imprinting of apparel versus MotoringCouture. I will slowly be phasing out all of the Ts we have been selling and re-introducing the original designs in smaller quantities, each with a custom appearance. That means some shirts will be loaded down with our signature bling, others will have unique imprints AND we will be introducing our one-of-a-kind imprinting feature, allowing you to have your style of car and screen name or car name on a shirt or tote bag. If you were at the Dragon this year, you may have seen one of our one-of-a-kind MotoringCouture shirts being modeled by a Florida gal. :-)

Earlier in the year we attended MOTD and AMVIV and had so much fun at both events. We will be at MITM, however not as vendors. The hubby and I both miss all of the motoring fun at the events and decided to take a short break, go enjoy the mountains and really get a chance to see all of our friends and their MINIs. You can still snag one of our Cookie Cutters at MITM (in the heaviest gauge steel we've ever seen in a cookie cutter--sure to hold it's shape!) by visiting our good friends at American Mini Mates.

What Fun at the Dragon!

We had a great time at Minis on the Dragon. This was our 3rd trip to the Dragon and we enjoy it each year. Thanks to all of you that stopped by to visit with us, share what you've done with your MotoringChix cookie cutters, show off your MINIs and buy more goodies. It's so much fun to see everyone, especially since we only see some of you once a year!

We did sneak away for a little motoring while at the Dragon and got to attend a few of the events outside of the vendor tent. We especially enjoyed the Welcome Dinner (which we decorated with our balloon artistry), the group photo and the Little Dragons event. John joined all of the little cuties and an extremely dedicated group of volunteers for awhile to make balloons for everyone and had a blast! I participated in the car show and it was a really nice gathering of MINIs. We stayed a couple extra days to spend time with a few of our local MINI club friends and really enjoyed the area.
